Sugar and Spice is a country duo who is comprised of Shelly Dubois and Danita Lynn who met in 2013, started writing songs and then started performing as a duo in 2016.  Three years later they decided to start recording and releasing their songs and now for five years in a row they have been nominated in different categories with the International Josie Music Awards in Nashville, TN. 

In 2023 they accepted their first award on the Grand Ol Opry stage for their single, A Different Kind of Rush  - Country Duo Song of the Year.  In 2024 they have four nominations:  Country Group/Duo, Song of the Year for their single Startin' Tomorrow, Songwriter Achievement for the single City Girls and Cowgirls and Fan's Choice.

Their harmonies are well blended just as their humour and presence is on stage when entertaining.  Audiences always compliment these fun and talented ladies on both their singing abilities and their interaction with the audience.  It's always a fun, dancing and sing along party. No one leaves a show disappointed and fans have definitely attested to that on the duo's social media and by submitting their nominations for Fan's Choice.

They have been performing as a duo at many venues and have also performed with a band for larger shows.  They perform many cover songs from 1990 country artists such as Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Terri Clark, Miranda Lambert, etc and they also perform their original songs that are always welcomed by the audiences they perform for.

Sugar and Spice not only have fun on stage but off stage as well as they started a podcast in March , 2024 and cover a variety of subjects.  When the world was on pause in 2020, the duo continued to entertain online and brought a happiness to many of their fans through technology.  It was out of doing these shows that the duo always said, "we should do a podcast" and now they provide a weekly podcast and have been gaining listeners on Apple Podcast, Spotify and on their YouTube Channel.
